TERMITES

Subterranean termites are social insects, which form large colonies under the ground. They are a silent pest that feed on wood. In fact, a colony can contain from thousands to a million termites, which represents a risk for any structure or object made of cellulose. In addition to wood, it can easily pass through concrete and other materials, putting any structure at risk. In general, termite damage is difficult to detect with the naked eye. The extension and quantity of galleries dug into the wood by these insects make it lose its qualities, resistance and end up at risk of collapse.
